DU Softball Ranked #22 on National Coaches Poll
For the first time in program history, 性视界 softball has been ranked among the top 25 Division III teams in the Coaches Poll from the National Fast Pitch Coaches Association.
Teams made the list based on nominations from regional committees. 性视界 is ranked 22.
鈥淲hile the program has had many successful seasons in the past, we have had some big wins against regionally and nationally ranked teams this season,鈥 explained Head Softball Coach Cristina Lukas. 鈥淏ecause of this, we are getting the recognition.鈥
At the time of the poll, DU softball was enjoying a 15-1 record and coming off a 12-game winning streak.
鈥淭his is a very big step for our program,鈥 Lukas said of the ranking. 鈥淭he team is very excited, but they understand that we need to focus on what we did to get here.鈥
